“Roars to Riches: Where Student Entrepreneurs Enter Their Main Character Era”
Okay, imagine Shark Tank but ✨make it Thomasian✨ — and sprinkle in a whole lot of “we’re built different” energy.
Welcome to Roars to Riches, the latest reality-show-meets-business-bootcamp produced by the third-year AB Communication students of UST’s OHA! Studios.
Premiering April 28 on UST Tiger TV’s Facebook page, this three-episode mini-series is serving student hustle, big dreams, and serious boss moves — all wrapped up in a classroom project that’s honestly giving network-level vibes.
The Plot Twist?
Instead of Kevin O’Leary throwing savage shade, it’s The Tigers — a lineup of alumni, professors, and industry pros — who are about to grill (and glow up) Thomasian student-entrepreneurs from the College of Commerce and Business Administration.
They pitch their startups, get schooled in real talk business advice, and maybe — just maybe — snatch that W.
More Than Just Clout:
Roars to Riches isn’t just here to flex. It’s about pushing students out of their Pinterest boards and into real-life risk-taking.
It’s giving:
💼 Practical skills
🧠 Critical thinking
🚀 Major glow-ups
🧑💻 Leadership energy
Because no, Gen Z isn’t just about memes and cancel culture — we’re about making bag-secure moves, too.
And the brains behind the magic?
Nadine Hernandez, Justine Ariola, and Coleen Hufanda — the show’s Executive Producers — are making sure Roars to Riches hits different. From the stress of pitching under pressure to the sweet high of innovation, this show captures it ALL. And yes, it’s bigger than just getting an A+.
“This show defies the stereotype that the youth cannot drive meaningful change,” Nadine flexes.
“The show will feature aspiring student entrepreneurs and business experts, providing high-stakes moments, valuable insights, and inspiring stories,” Justine adds.
“The show cultivates an entrepreneurial mindset among Thomasians by providing real-world experience in business planning, pitching, and even production,” Coleen said.
Bigger Picture Vibes:
Besides helping students boss up, Roars to Riches is also repping #SustainableDevelopmentGoals (#SDG9 if you’re nasty). Think innovation, sustainable biz practices, and a future that doesn’t suck.
Mark your cals:
From April 28 to May 12, it’s three episodes of bold pitches, brilliant ideas, and Thomasians stepping into their trailblazer era.
Because at the end of the day, Roars to Riches isn’t just a TV show.
It’s the beginning of something iconic.
